Our Story
We started Coffey County Concepts in 2025 to provide hard working Americans affordable suppressor options. While we are a suppressor manufacturer, first and foremost, we are firearm and suppressor consumers and enthusiasts. In 2019, we bought our first suppressors together and have never looked back. At that point in time, there were not many companies to choose from and the prices were prohibitive. Even now, there are very few companies offering what we would consider affordable suppressors. High performance should not equate to exorbitant prices. Our goal is to provide suppressors with the best performance to cost ratio in the industry.
Lance, Alex's father, has a vast amount of technical and firearm experience over his career. His experience ranges from nearly a decade in nuclear security management, over 15 years of reserve/part-time law enforcement, former licensure as a Senior Reactor Operator, former membership on a joint county Special Response Team, and 9 years as a Navy Nuke on the USS Enterprise. Lance is an all around handyman who is always working on a project. He has built and renovated multiple houses and he has rebuilt multiple vehicles. He is an avid shooter who can be found on the range whenever he is not spending time with family.

Meet The Owners
Alex
Alex, Lance's son, is a licensed Professional Engineer with a BS in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering. He is currently a MS student in Explosives Engineering at Missouri S&T. Alex's career consists of working as a design engineer in the nuclear power industry and formerly as a bridge designer and inspector. He also worked as a Research Technician Assistant for the Kansas State Civil Engineering Department during his undergraduate studies where he built upon his welding knowledge from high school and operated both manual and CNC machines to fabricate various custom research equipment. Alex initially gained his interest in building suppressors through the Form 1 community. Outside of spending time with family, Alex's free time is usually spent on the golf course.
